Mix water with apple peels and cores in a cooking vessel. Heat it up until boiling point, then decrease the heat level and let it simmer gently, stirring occasionally, until the apple flavor and color have evenly infused into the water, approximately 30 minutes.

Pour the strained apple juice from the saucepan into a container for blending; discard all remaining solids. Combine sugar with the apple juice until it is fully incorporated and smooth. Permit the mixture to cool down for 30 minutes before serving.
