- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Place milk into a suitable container for microwave cooking. Microwave on high for 20 to 30 seconds, or until the mixture is warm but not hot. Stir in butter using a spoon until it's fully incorporated. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition to prevent lumps. Combine flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl, then use an immersion blender to mix the ingredients until they form a smooth consistency.

Preheat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat, ensuring it's lightly coated with oil. Using a large spoon, drop small amounts of the batter onto the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on the first side, or until it's golden brown. Flip the pancakes over and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes on the second side, or until they're browned. Continue with the remaining batter.
