  • 4 fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ground black pepper to taste

Preheat your oven to the optimal temperature for baking, which is 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.

Next, spread a layer of tomato pesto onto one side of each pita bread, positioning them so that the pesto is facing upwards on a baking sheet.

Then, place your pita breads on the baking sheet with their pesto side facing upwards and top them with a selection of ingredients including sliced tomatoes, fresh spinach leaves, sautéed mushrooms, crumbled feta cheese, and shaved Parmesan cheese.
