  • 3 onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup water

Preheat your oven to a high temperature, specifically 400 degrees Fahrenheit or 200 degrees Celsius.

Take the pork chops and sprinkle them with a blend of spices, commonly referred to as seasoned salt. Place the seasoned pork chops in a clear glass baking dish.

Add thin slices of onion on top of the pork chops, followed by a splash of water into the dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil to create a sealed environment.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour. After this initial period, reduce the oven temperature to a lower heat setting of 300 degrees Fahrenheit or 150 degrees Celsius.

Continue baking the pork chops until they reach a safe internal temperature, which can be checked by inserting an instant-read thermometer into the center of the meat. This should take approximately 30 minutes longer, resulting in an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit or 63 degrees Celsius.
