- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 small avocado, peeled and pitted
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons softened cream cheese

Use a toaster to warm slices of bagel until they achieve a light golden color

While the bagels are being toasted, heat a small amount of oil in a skillet over a moderate temperature and gently place an egg into it. Cook until the egg is fully set, taking around 3 to 4 minutes.

In a separate bowl, use a fork to crush the avocado until it reaches your desired consistency; sprinkle with a pinch of salt and some black pepper.

Spread 1 tablespoon of cream cheese onto each half of the toasted bagel. Add a layer of mashed avocado and egg on top, and add additional salt and pepper if you desire.
