- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup packed cilantro leaves
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Fill a large container with edamame and submerge it in salted water. Heat the mixture over medium-low heat until the edamame become soft, approximately 5 minutes; discard the water.

Mince garlic in a food processor until it reaches a finely chopped state. Combine the minced garlic with the edamame, tahini, water, cilantro, lemon juice, olive oil, kosher salt, cumin, and cayenne pepper; blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency.
