Ingredients
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 1 pound beef flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 2 large green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
1
Combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes in a spacious container. Thoroughly mix these ingredients until they are well incorporated. Combine the beef with this marinade mixture; cover the container and refrigerate for a period of 1 hour or longer, depending on your preference.
2
Heat the peanut oil in a large wok or skillet with a nonstick surface over extremely high heat. Quickly sauté the green onions in the hot oil for 5 to 10 seconds, stirring constantly. Remove the beef from its marinade and add it to the green onions in the wok; discard the remaining marinade. Cook and stir until the beef is no longer pink and begins to develop a rich brown color, approximately 5 minutes.
