Begin by warming the yogurt in a microwave-safe container or on the stovetop until it reaches a comfortable temperature.

Combine yeast with warm water and blend until fully incorporated. Then, combine this mixture with the yogurt, 2 cups of flour, sugar, oil, and salt. Mix until a smooth consistency is achieved. Gradually add more flour as needed to make the dough manageable and easy to work with.

Transfer the dough onto a lightly dusted surface and knead until it becomes smooth and pliable. Place the dough in a greased bowl and allow it to rise until it has doubled in size, approximately 1 hour.

Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape each one into a loaf. Lightly brush the surface of each loaf with cold water, then use a sharp knife to make 3 diagonal cuts across the top of each loaf.

Allow the loaves to rise once more until they have doubled in size again, roughly 25 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Brush the loaves with cold water again before placing them in the oven to bake until they produce a hollow sound when tapped, typically taking 30-35 minutes and requiring two water brushings during the baking process.
