  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 pound medium shrimp - peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup (1 small) chopped onion
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 3 tablespoons water, or as needed
  • 6 (10 inch) flour tortillas, warmed

Preheat your stove to a medium-high temperature, and place 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet. Introduce the sliced red and green bell peppers, along with the chopped onion, into the skillet. Cook, stirring constantly to prevent burning, until the peppers are hot and retain a slight crunch, approximately 5 minutes.

Transfer the cooked vegetables to a separate plate for later use.

Next, pour the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of oil into the skillet. Introduce the shrimp into the skillet, and cook, stirring occasionally to avoid overcrowding, until they turn pink and become opaque.
