Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package littleneck clams
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 heads garlic, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lemon and herb seafood seasoning
- 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound Snow Crab legs
- 2 lobster tails, split in half lengthwise
- 4 andouille sausage links, cut into quarters
- 3 ears corn, cut into chunks
Instructions
1
To prepare the clams, submerge them in a saltwater solution for 20 minutes to remove any grit. This process should be repeated twice to achieve optimal results. Next, scrub the shells thoroughly with a brush to remove any remaining impurities.
2
To proceed with cooking, preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
3
In a medium-sized saucepan, melt butter over low heat while combining it with minced garlic, Cajun seasoning, seafood seasoning, and cayenne pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer for 1-2 minutes, until the aroma of garlic becomes pronounced.
4
Remove the saucepan from heat and set it aside.
5
Arrange a variety of seafood items, including clams, shrimp, crab, lobster, and sausage, on a baking sheet. Add some frozen corn kernels to the mix as well.
6
Pour the seasoned butter mixture over the seafood and other ingredients, ensuring that each component is evenly coated.
7
Bake the prepared dish in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the shrimp turn opaque and the clams open. The sausage should also be nicely browned during this time.
