Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups self-rising flour
- 1 cup full-fat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 large egg white, beaten
- 3 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
1
Combine the flour and Greek yogurt in a medium-sized bowl using a fork, stirring until you achieve a crumbly dough consistency. If the mixture is too dense, incorporate a small amount of yogurt; if it's excessively sticky, add a bit more flour to balance the texture.
2
Transfer the dough to a lightly dusted work surface, and knead until it becomes smooth and pliable, taking around 5 to 7 minutes. Divide the dough into four equal portions, and shape each portion into a rope that is approximately 3/4 inch thick and measures around 8 to 9 inches in length. Seal the ends by pinching them together, forming a bagel shape.
3
Lightly brush the egg white over the bagels to provide a glaze, and sprinkle with your preferred bagel seasoning.
4
Preheat the air fryer to 280 degrees Fahrenheit (137 degrees Celsius). Line the basket with parchment paper or spray it lightly with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
5
Arrange the bagels in the basket, ensuring they don't overlap; if necessary, cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding. Cook the bagels until they turn golden brown, taking around 15 to 16 minutes.
6
Remove the cooked bagels from the air fryer and let them cool on a rack for approximately 15 minutes before slicing.
