Easy 4-Ingredient Chicken Pot Pie
Ingredients
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans mixed vegetables, drained
  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high heat setting, equivalent to 375 degrees Fahrenheit or 190 degrees Celsius.
2
To cook the chicken, place it in a large container filled with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer until the chicken is no longer pink in its center, approximately 15 minutes. Then, cut the cooked chicken into small, manageable pieces.
3
While the chicken is cooking, prepare a 9-inch round baking dish by lining its bottom and sides with one of the pie crusts.
4
Mix together a can of condensed soup, some canned vegetables, and the diced chicken in a bowl. Pour this mixture into the prepared pie shell, followed by covering it with the second pie crust.
5
To seal the edges and create a decorative top, use your fingers to crimp them together. Make several small holes in the top crust using a fork.
6
Place the pie in the oven and bake at the high heat setting for 45 minutes, or until the top crust is golden brown and crispy.
