Ingredients
- 12 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 7 fluid ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup pureed fresh durian
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon durian or banana extract
- 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a moderate temperature of 325 degrees Fahrenheit (or 170 degrees Celsius, if you prefer metric).
2
If your durian purée is not in a canned or frozen form, carefully extract the flesh from the fruit's outer husk and remove one segment of the pulpy inner part. Place this flesh in a bowl and use a fork to break it down into a smooth consistency, setting aside 1/4 cup for later use.
3
In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until it becomes light and airy. Gradually add condensed milk to this mixture, continuing to beat until a smooth consistency is achieved. Next, incorporate the puréed durian flesh into this mixture, followed by eggs, sour cream, vanilla extract, and either durian or banana flavoring.
4
Pour the prepared batter into your graham cracker crust, which you had previously prepared.
5
Bake the dessert in the oven for 1 hour or until it reaches a set consistency and the edges are lightly browned. Serve warm, straight from the oven, or refrigerate it overnight for a chilled treat.
