- 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 8 maraschino cherries
- 1 (9 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 large egg

Next, take a moment to prepare your baking vessel by spraying it with cooking spray and ensuring it measures 8 inches in diameter.

Drain the liquid from your pineapple slices and set them aside for later use.
