Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 1 pound skinless steelhead trout fillets
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 2 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
- 1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to the highest temperature setting, which is 400 degrees Fahrenheit (or 200 degrees Celsius if your oven uses metric measurements).
2
Next, take a 9x13-inch baking dish and give it a light coating of cooking spray to prevent the fish from sticking.
3
Arrange your trout fillets in a single layer within the prepared baking dish.
4
Meanwhile, combine white wine, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, chopped fresh dill, and a pinch of lemon-pepper seasoning in a bowl.
5
Pour the marinade mixture over the trout fillets, allowing some of it to seep underneath the fish as well.
6
Place the baking dish in your preheated oven and bake until the fish is fully opaque and flakes apart easily, taking around 10 to 15 minutes.
