- 1/2 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 drops Worcestershire sauce
- 2 dashes ground black pepper
- 1 pound mushrooms, stems removed
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Heat your oven to a high temperature, specifically 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.

In a substantial, deep pan, cook the bacon over a moderate to high heat level, stirring occasionally until it reaches a crispy and uniformly browned state, approximately 10 minutes. Remove the cooked bacon slices from heat and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess moisture. Break the cooked bacon into smaller pieces and transfer them to a bowl.

Mix the broken-down bacon with softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, and a pinch of pepper until well combined.

Fill the mushroom caps with the prepared filling mixture and arrange them in an 8x8-inch baking dish. Sprinkle a layer of the remaining 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese on top.
