Decadent Blintz Soufflé

  • 2 (13 ounce) packages frozen cheese-filled blintzes
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 1/4 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice

Preheat your oven to the desired temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or equivalently 175 degrees Celsius.

Melt the butter in a 2-quart-sized casserole dish, and place the frozen blintzes on top of it in a single layer.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, sour cream, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and orange juice until you achieve a smooth and uniform mixture.

Pour the egg mixture over the blintzes in the casserole dish, making sure they are fully covered.

Bake the blintze mixture in the preheated oven until it reaches a golden brown color on top, and when you insert a toothpick into the center of the casserole, it comes out clean, which should take approximately 45 minutes.
