- 2 (15 ounce) cans ranch-style beans

Break beef into smaller pieces and place them in a large cooking vessel over elevated heat; add chopped onion and minced garlic. Continuously stir beef until it reaches a deep, rich brown color, taking around 7 to 10 minutes. Remove excess fat from the pot and reheat it over elevated heat.

Combine diced tomatoes, beef broth, chopped green chilies, chili powder, brown sugar, oregano, cumin, and salt with the beef mixture. Introduce beans to the pot and stir until a rolling boil is achieved.
