- 7 ounces dark chocolate chips (50% cacao)

Preheat the skillet over medium heat; spread almonds evenly across its surface. Allow them to lightly brown, approximately 3-5 minutes.

Transfer the toasted almonds to a separate container for further processing.

Melt chocolate in a heatproof bowl placed atop a simmering water bath, stirring constantly and ensuring the sides are well-reached to prevent scorching. This process should take about 5 minutes.

Once the chocolate has reached the desired consistency, remove it from the heat source; pour in the toasted almonds and mix until they are uniformly coated.

Spoon small amounts of the chocolate-almond mixture onto a plate lined with waxed paper for cooling and setting.
