- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 1 avocado - peeled, pitted, and cut into large chunks
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- salt to taste

Heat a saucepan of water until it reaches its boiling point, then bring the water to a rolling boil. Prepare the tomatillos for cooking by submerging them in the boiling water, allowing them to cook for 3-4 minutes or until they start to become tender; transfer the cooked tomatillos to a blender.

Combine diced jalapeno peppers, chopped cilantro, finely chopped onion, mashed avocado, water, freshly squeezed lime juice, and a pinch of black pepper in the blender with the cooked tomatillos; blend until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. Add a pinch of salt to taste before serving
