Heat a small skillet over medium heat and toast the cumin seeds, stirring frequently, until they have darkened in color and developed a smoky aroma, approximately 8 minutes. Let the cumin seeds cool down to room temperature before grinding them into a fine powder using a spice grinder or mortar.

Combine the ice, milk, yogurt, salt, and ground cumin in a blender and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and free of any lumps.
