Cuban Midnight Sandwich

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup prepared mustard
  • 1 pound thinly sliced cooked ham
  • 1 pound thinly sliced fully cooked pork
  • 1 pound sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup dill pickle slices
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Divide the sandwich rolls into two equal parts, then generously apply a layer of mustard and mayonnaise to each cut side.

Place an equal portion of Swiss cheese, ham, and pork onto each sandwich in the specified sequence. Add a few slices of pickle on top of the meat, and cover with the other half of the roll.

Brush a thin layer of melted butter onto the top of each sandwich for added flavor and moisture.
