- 1 (6 ounce) can black olives, drained and chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise, or as needed
- 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard, or to taste
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 4 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
- paprika to taste

Boil a substantial container of salted water until it reaches a rolling boil. Cook macaroni in the boiling water, stirring periodically, until it is no longer hard but still retains a slight bite, approximately 8 minutes; drain excess water.

Combine cooked macaroni, finely chopped eggs, diced onion, pickle relish with some of the remaining water, and pitted olives in a spacious bowl. Mix well the cooked macaroni mixture with mayonnaise and mustard; add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Finish the dish by topping it with sliced eggs and sprinkling a pinch of paprika on top to add visual appeal.
