- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder

Preheat your oven to the highest temperature setting, which is 425 degrees Fahrenheit or 220 degrees Celsius.

Cover a baking sheet with a sheet of aluminum foil and lightly apply some cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Wash and peel the turnips, then cut them into long, thin strips, roughly 1/3 inch wide and 4 inches long. Place these strips into a large bowl.

Pour some vegetable oil over the turnip strips to coat them evenly.

Mix together Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, paprika, and onion powder in a resealable plastic bag. Shake the bag vigorously until all the ingredients are well combined.

Add the turnip strips to the plastic bag and shake again until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.

Spread the turnip strips out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
