  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • salt to taste
  • 1 (4 ounce) package crumbled feta cheese
  • 3 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Heat a moderate amount of oil in a cooking vessel over an intermediate temperature. Introduce minced garlic and allow it to simmer until aromatic, 1 to 2 minutes. Combine the addition of fresh spinach leaves and cook until warmed through, 3 to 5 minutes; enhance with a pinch of salt and blend harmoniously. Transfer the mixture to a serving container; merge with crumbled feta cheese until fully incorporated.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Coat two baking trays with a thin layer of lubricant.

Place one sheet of puff pastry on a lightly dusted surface and divide it in half lengthwise. Unfold one half using a rolling pin so that it spans wide enough to fold twice lengthwise. Mix egg and milk in a small container.

Spread 1/6 of the spinach mixture lengthwise across the center of puff pastry. Fold one side over the filling and brush the adjacent surface with egg mixture. Roll over again to seal.

Brush the top of the roll with egg mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Divide the rolled pastry into 6 equal-sized portions. Repeat the process using the remaining puff pastry. Arrange cut rolls onto the prepared baking trays.
