Ingredients
- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt

Combine chickpeas with vinegar in a saucepan and initiate boiling. Stop the heat source and allow it to rest for 30 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Cover a roasting pan with aluminum foil.

Discard the vinegar and thoroughly rinse chickpeas. Distribute them evenly across the roasting pan and lightly drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle salt over the top and mix to ensure even coverage.

Roast chickpeas in the oven, periodically shaking the pan every 8 to 10 minutes, until they are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, approximately 30 minutes. Transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. Serve the chickpeas warm or at room temperature.
