  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

First, preheat your oven to a high temperature of 400 degrees Fahrenheit (or 205 degrees Celsius, if you have a metric system).

Next, put the trimmed Brussels sprouts, olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper into a large container with a tight-fitting lid. Close the bag tightly and give it a good shake to evenly distribute the seasonings.

Pour the contents of the bag onto a baking sheet, positioning it in the center of your oven rack.

Now, place the Brussels sprouts in the preheated oven and roast for 30 to 45 minutes, shaking the baking sheet every 5 to 7 minutes to achieve even browning. If necessary, lower the oven heat to prevent burning. Your Brussels sprouts should turn a deep, almost black color when they're done.
