  • 1 cup panko crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands® Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands® Onion Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands® Fine Grind Sea Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Spice Islands® Fine Grind Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Mazola® Corn Oil

Slice chicken breasts into thin cutlets, one at a time, in a resealable plastic bag until they reach an even thickness of approximately half an inch.

In a separate, shallow dish, whisk together the egg until it's just beaten. In another shallow dish, mix together the panko crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture, coating it thoroughly, before dipping it into the panko mixture, pressing the chicken firmly into the crumbs to ensure a complete covering. Arrange the coated chicken breasts in a single layer on a flat plate.

Heat a generous amount of oil in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until they're golden brown on both sides and cooked through, taking around 2 to 3 minutes per side.
