Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring, optional

Combine sugar and butter in a large mixing vessel until they are well incorporated; then add eggs, one at a time, thoroughly mixing each egg before proceeding to the next. Next, incorporate flour, milk, vanilla extract, and butter flavoring into the mixture until it forms a smooth consistency.

Preheat a krumkake iron over medium heat; lightly coat both sides of the iron with butter or cooking spray for easy release.

Spoon approximately one tablespoon of batter onto the center of the preheated iron; gently press the two sides together until they just meet in the middle. Cook for about 30 seconds on one side, or until it is golden brown; then carefully flip the krumkake over and cook for another 30 seconds on the other side. Remove the cooked krumkake from the iron and quickly roll it up around the handle of a wooden spoon to form a cone shape. Repeat this process with the remaining batter.

Allow the krumkake to cool completely on a wire rack before storing them in an airtight container.
