Ingredients
- 4 large egg whites
- 1 1/4 cups white sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 6 kiwi, peeled and sliced

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit (150 degrees Celsius).

Prepare a baking sheet by covering it with parchment paper and drawing a 9-inch circular shape on the surface.

In a glass, metal, or ceramic bowl, whip egg whites until they become stiff and hold their shape, but not too dry. Gradually add sugar in small increments of about 1 tablespoon at a time, beating the mixture well after each addition. Continue whipping until the meringue reaches a thick, white, and glossy consistency.

Mix in cornstarch, vanilla extract, and lemon juice gently to avoid deflating the mixture.

Spoon the meringue mixture into the circular shape drawn on the parchment paper, starting from the center and gradually spreading it towards the outer edge while building a slight rim around the edge. This should leave a small indentation in the center.

Place the meringue mixture in a preheated oven and bake until it becomes dry and sounds hollow when tapped, taking about 1 hour.

Once the meringue is done, remove it from the parchment paper and place it on a flat serving plate.

In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form; set it aside to be used later. Remove the meringue from the parchment paper and place it on a flat serving plate.

Fill the center of the meringue with whipped cream and top it with sliced kiwi. Add your favorite fruits on top to complete the dessert.
