  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 potatoes, unpeeled and cut into 1/2 inch thick wedges
  • vegetable oil for frying

Combine the dry ingredients of flour, lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, celery salt, and seasoning salt in a shallow dish.

Prepare the egg mixture by whisking it until smooth, then place it in another shallow dish.

Dip each potato wedge into the egg mixture, coating it evenly, before pressing it firmly into the dry ingredient mixture to coat completely.

Heat a substantial amount of oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Fry the potatoes in batches, working your way through them, until they are golden brown and crispy, taking around 5 to 7 minutes. Remove the fries from the hot oil briefly with some paper towels and serve them immediately.
