- 12 pita bread pockets

Cover two baking sheets with parchment paper, ensuring they have a rim and are flat.

Combine oil, garlic salt, chervil, basil, and pepper in a small bowl to create the marinade.

Divide each pita bread into 8 equal pieces using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.

Arrange some of the pita triangles in a single layer on each prepared baking sheet; brush with the marinade.

Since not all triangles will fit, set aside the remaining pieces for later use.
