- 4 (3/4 inch) thick pork chops

Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat by allowing the oil to warm up.

Mix together flour, seasoning salt, salt, and pepper in a convenient container such as a paper or plastic bag.

Put the pork chops inside the bag and give it a good shake to evenly coat them with the flour mixture.

Remove any excess flour by shaking off your hands or a paper towel.

Cook the pork chops in hot oil until they are golden brown on the outside and the juices flow freely, flipping them over every 4-5 minutes. Use a food thermometer to check the internal temperature, aiming for at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Once done, transfer the chops to a wire rack or paper towels to drain excess oil before serving.
