  • 3 tablespoons chopped green onion
  • 1 tablespoon grainy mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 teaspoons ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 2 dashes hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®), or to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons minced red onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon minced Italian parsley
  • 2 cups fine bread or cracker crumbs, divided
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans crabmeat, drained, picked clean
  • 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 3 teaspoons seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 8 Ball Park® Hamburger Buns
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted, or more as needed
  • lettuce, tomato, and onion, for topping, as desired, plus lemon wedges
Instructions
1
Combine mayonnaise, green onion, grainy mustard, and chopped parsley in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk until well combined
2
.
3
In the same bowl, add ketchup, vinegar, horseradish, and garlic granules. Whisk until smooth
4
.
5
Add salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well
6
.
7
Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate until you're ready to serve
8
.
9
In a separate, large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, egg, and minced parsley. Stir until the mixture is smooth
10
.
11
Add bread crumbs, crabmeat, black pepper, seafood seasoning, and sea salt to the bowl. Stir until the mixture is combined
12
.
13
The mixture should be fairly loose and wet at this stage, so don't worry if it looks a bit messy
14
.
15
Use your hands to shape the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties. You can also use a spoon or spatula to help shape them
16
.
17
Coat each patty in the remaining bread crumbs, pressing gently to adhere
18
.
19
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties until they are uniformly golden brown, about 8 minutes
20
.
21
Flip the patties halfway through cooking to ensure even browning
22
.
23
While the patties are cooking, preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Arrange hamburger buns on a baking sheet
24
.
25
Place the buns, split sides up, in the oven and brush with melted butter. Toast until the edges begin to brown
26
.
27
Once toasted, remove the buns from the oven and place one patty on each bun. Top with remoulade sauce and your desired toppings
28
.
29
Serve immediately, with extra sauce on the side and a squeeze of lemon juice if you like
