  • 1/4 cup prepared brown mustard
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup chopped mixed nuts
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 pound whitefish fillets

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, or 190 degrees Celsius.

Next, lightly coat the inside of a medium-sized baking dish with a thin layer of oil or cooking spray.

In a small, shallow container, combine mayonnaise and brown mustard.

Meanwhile, in another medium-sized bowl, thoroughly mix together dry bread crumbs, shredded coconut, chopped mixed nuts, sugar, salt, and cayenne pepper.

Now, dip each fish fillet into the mayonnaise mixture, coating it evenly, before then rolling it in the bread crumb mixture to coat.

Arrange the coated fish fillets side by side in the prepared baking dish.

Finally, place the dish in your preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the fish is easily flaked with a fork.
