Ingredients
- 9 ounces ground chicken
- 1/4 cup cooked, diced ham
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- salt
- 8 ounces Swiss cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- canola oil for pan-frying

Preheat the oven to a moderate heat setting of 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large mixing container, merge chicken, ham, and egg until they are thoroughly incorporated. Gradually incorporate bread crumbs into the mixture until it becomes cohesive and can be molded into spherical shapes. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to suit your taste preferences.

Create small balls by shaping the chicken mixture around cheese cubes, approximately 2 inches in diameter. Arrange these balls on a serving plate.

In a deep frying pan, heat 1 1/2 inches of oil to the same moderate heat setting as before. Fry these spherical shapes in hot oil until they turn a golden hue, approximately 4 minutes. Remove them from the oil using paper towels and place them in a baking dish.
