- 1 quart vegetable oil for frying
- 4 cups shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 cups dry bread crumbs

Heat a substantial amount of oil in a deep frying device or large cooking vessel to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

Proceed with the preparation of each shrimp individually, first dipping it into a beaten egg mixture, allowing any surplus egg to flow back into the container. Then, gently press the shrimp against the bread crumbs to coat both sides evenly. Place the coated shrimp, arranged in a neat stack, onto a serving plate. Continue this process with the remaining shrimp.

Carefully introduce the breaded shrimp into the preheated oil in batches, taking care not to overcrowd the container. Fry until the shrimp are crispy and golden brown, approximately 4 to 5 minutes. Remove the fried shrimp from the oil using a slotted spoon and transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Repeat the process with the remaining breaded shrimp.
