Crispy Baked Tofu with Sesame-Soy-Ginger Flavor
Ingredients
  • cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, or to taste
  • 1 pound tofu, sliced into 8 even pieces

Acquire the necessary components.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Lightly coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.

Combine soy sauce, agave nectar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl using a whisk until the ingredients are thoroughly blended.

Press tofu pieces firmly to extract as much moisture as possible.

Arrange the tofu on the prepared baking sheet and brush with half of the soy mixture.

Bake the tofu in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Flip the tofu and brush with the remaining soy mixture. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top of the tofu. Continue baking until the tofu is crispy, approximately 30 additional minutes.

Transfer the baked tofu to a wire rack using a spatula and allow it to cool.
