- 2 teaspoons olive oil

Preheat the air fryer to its maximum temperature setting, which is 360 degrees F (or 180 degrees C).

Cut the halloumi cheese into six equal pieces, then divide each piece in half. Pat dry the cut cheese slices with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Brush all sides of the halloumi slices with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Lightly mist the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the halloumi slices in the basket, leaving a small gap between each piece to allow for even cooking. As this may require cooking in batches, be prepared to cook the slices in two stages.

Cook the halloumi slices for 7-9 minutes, or until they achieve a golden brown color. However, be cautious not to overcook the cheese, as this can result in an unpleasantly rubbery texture. Remove the halloumi from the air fryer and serve immediately.
