Crispy Air Fryer Churros
Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Heat butter in a saucepan over high heat, stirring occasionally until it reaches the melting point. Combine milk and salt in the saucepan, stirring gently to dissolve the salt. Lower the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a rolling boil, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.

Add flour all at once and continue stirring until the mixture forms a cohesive mass.

Transfer the saucepan to a cooler surface, allowing it to rest for 5-7 minutes. Using the wooden spoon, gently incorporate eggs into the mixture until fully absorbed.

Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star-shaped tip. Pipe the dough directly into the air fryer basket, forming six equal strips.

Cook the churros in the air fryer at 340 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 5 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together until well blended. Pour the mixture onto a shallow plate.

Once the churros are cooked, remove them from the air fryer and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
