  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Next, take a small amount of butter and grease a 10-inch pie plate to prevent the dish from sticking.

In a separate pot, bring a substantial amount of water to its boiling point and add a pinch of salt. Cook spaghetti in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until it reaches your desired level of tenderness yet still maintains some firmness to the bite, approximately 12 minutes.

Drain the spaghetti through a colander and return it to its original pot.

Meanwhile, combine Parmesan cheese, beaten eggs, and another small amount of butter in the pot with the spaghetti. Stir until everything is well incorporated.
