1 serving
Creamy Sesame Noodles
Ingredients
  • 1/2 (8 ounce) package spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons tamari
  • 1 teaspoon Thai chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
Instructions
1
Fill a large pot with water that has been lightly seasoned with salt, then place it over high heat to bring the water to a vigorous boil. As soon as the water reaches its boiling point, add the spaghetti and return it to a rolling boil. Continue cooking the pasta in the boiling water, occasionally stirring it with a spoon, until it reaches the desired level of doneness - still retaining some firmness in the center when bitten into, approximately 12 minutes.
2
Transfer the cooked spaghetti to a colander placed in the sink and drain it thoroughly.
3
Now, heat the peanut butter in a microwave-safe container for 15 to 20 seconds - depending on your microwave's power level. Combine the honey, tamari, and chili sauce in a separate bowl and whisk them together with the peanut butter. Add the sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and green onions to this mixture and stir until well combined.
4
Add the peanut butter sauce to the cooked spaghetti, tossing it gently to coat the pasta evenly. Finally, sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of the spaghetti for a finishing touch.
