Combine milk, rice, and sugar in a large cooking vessel. Heat it over high flames until the mixture reaches boiling point. Lower the heat and continue to cook gently for a prolonged period of time, approximately 20-25 minutes, or until the rice becomes soft and palatable.

In a separate container, whisk eggs until they become smooth. Add a modest amount of the cooked rice mixture to the eggs to acclimate them to the new temperature. Gradually pour this tempered egg mixture into the pot; add raisins and vanilla extract to enhance flavor. Allow it to cook further until it thickens, approximately 15-20 minutes more.
