Take a large container and fill it with water, bringing it to a rolling boil. Cook the cauliflower in the boiling water until it becomes soft and tender, approximately ten minutes; remove from heat and set aside.

In the same container, melt butter over medium heat. Combine the cauliflower, milk, and sour cream into the melted butter using a spoon.
