- 1 (6 ounce) package lime flavored Jell-O® mix
- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained with juice reserved
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Acquire the necessary components.

Combine boiling water and gelatin powder in a large container; whisk until fully incorporated. Stir in 1/2 cup pineapple juice. Place the mixture in the refrigerator to thicken but not solidify, approximately 1 hour.

Simultaneously, prepare a small saucepan by adding crushed pineapple and the remaining pineapple juice. Bring the mixture to a boil, then decrease the heat and let it simmer for around 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Blend the softened cream cheese with the prepared gelatin until smooth. Mix in the cooled pineapple.

Using an electric mixer, whip heavy cream in a chilled glass or metal bowl until soft peaks form.

Combine the whipped cream with the gelatin mixture, then fold in chopped nuts. Pour the mixture into a decorative glass bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
