- 2 cups coconut milk
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1/2 cup basmati rice
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon rose water
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachio nuts

Combine the coconut milk, regular milk, and sugar in a large saucepan over medium heat. Heat the mixture until it reaches its boiling point, stirring occasionally.

Next, add the rice to the saucepan and lower the heat to a low setting. Allow the mixture to simmer gently for approximately 20 minutes, or until it reaches your desired consistency and the rice is tender.

After that, stir in the raisins, cardamom, and rose water. Continue to cook for a short while longer.
