Ingredients
- 2 (14.5 ounce) cans green beans (such as Del MonteĀ®)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- salt and cracked black pepper to taste

Remove excess moisture from the green beans by draining most of the water and place them in a saucepan over medium heat.

Heat the green beans gently, allowing them to come to a rolling boil before gradually decreasing the heat and letting them simmer for 10 minutes.

Melt butter and cream cheese together in the saucepan with green beans, stirring constantly until they are fully incorporated and smooth. This should take around 3 to 5 minutes.

Add a pinch of salt and a few grinds of pepper to the saucepan, allowing the flavors to meld together with the green beans and creamy mixture.
