- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Combine the chicken broth, onion, cauliflower, and broccoli in a large stockpot. Place the pot over high heat and bring the mixture to a rolling boil. Once boiling, decrease the heat to a low simmer and let it cook for an extended period of time until the vegetables are tender. Add the curry powder, chicken bouillon, salt, and pepper to taste, stirring well to incorporate.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and 1/2 cup of milk until smooth. Use a vigorous whisking motion to eliminate any lumps that may form. Gradually pour the flour mixture into the simmering soup, stirring constantly as it thickens. Continue to stir until the soup reaches your desired consistency. Finally, add the Cheddar cheese and let it melt completely, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
