Creamy Chicken Broccoli Bake
Ingredients
  • 1 pound chopped fresh broccoli
  • 1 1/2 cups cubed, cooked chicken meat
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of broccoli soup
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons dried bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Heat your oven to a high temperature of 450 degrees Fahrenheit (230 degrees Celsius).

Submerge the broccoli in a saucepan with sufficient water to cover it completely. Bring the water to a rolling boil and cook until the broccoli is tender, approximately 5 minutes. Drain the excess water.

Position the cooked broccoli in a circular dish measuring 9 inches in diameter. Cover it with slices of chicken breast. In another bowl, combine the soup and milk to create a creamy mixture, then pour it over the chicken. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top of the chicken. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter with crushed bread crumbs to create a crunchy topping, then sprinkle it over the cheese.

Place the casserole in the preheated oven and cook until it's bubbly and the top is golden brown, around 15 minutes.
