- 2 pounds skinless halibut fillets

Position the oven rack approximately six inches away from the heat source, and set the broiler to its highest temperature. Grease a rimmed baking sheet; carefully place the halibut fillets on the prepared surface.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and cook until the fish easily breaks apart with a fork, approximately eight minutes.

In a separate bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, softened butter, mayonnaise, finely chopped green onions, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, salt, and a dash of hot pepper sauce.

Once the fish is cooked to perfection, remove it from the oven and spread the Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
